Description

Commissioned by Perth Institute of Contemporary Art for the 2013 PICA Edition, this iteration of Rebecca Baumann’s renowned Colour Clock series features a vibrant colour scale that references colour reproduction and printing processes and is the first occasion that the artist has created an edition of individual colour clocks. This particular version can be wall mounted or placed on a desk, shelf or table.

Rebecca Baumann is one of Perth’s success stories having shown at PICA in the group show Rounds in 2010 and in First Amongst Equals in 2012, as well as in nationally esteemed exhibitions such as Primavera 2011 at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney; NEW11 at the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art, Melbourne; and more recently in Contemporary Australia: Women at the Gallery of Modern Art, Brisbane.  Source: Perth Institute of Contemporary Art
